The Ocean City Riptide is a professional wiffleball club that plays in the Old Line Wiffleball League (OLW) located in Pasadena, Maryland. OLW is the premier fast pitch wiffleball league in Maryland. The idea was conceived for a senior project at Towson University in 2021 and the team was officially formed in the league's inaugural season in 2022. Social media was used to market the team using infographics, game highlights, connecting to the wiffleball community and beyond. The team won the OLW Championship in the first season.
